Haley Byrd Wilt is a writer, editor, and journalist based in the D.C. area. She spent nine very long years reporting on the U.S. Congress before deciding her time might be better used elsewhere. Her work has been published in Christianity Today, Foreign Policy, the New York Times, and NOTUS, among others. Several of her fiction stories have appeared in Analog Science Fiction & Fact. And, on one blessed occasion, she even managed to convince an editor to take one of her poems.
